Dubai, August 20^th 2008: Mr. Elias Bou Saab, Executive Vice President of the American University in Dubai held a lunch in Beirut in honor of Mr. Ali Jaber and his appointment as the new Dean of the Mohammed Bin Rashid School for Communication. Attendees included prominent Lebanese academic, political, diplomatic, and media figures.

“In his capacity as Dean, Ali Jaber will spearhead the development of the school's curriculum and courses and lead the faculty to achieve the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid for the future of the Arab media industry. Equipped with a wealth of professional and academic expertise, Ali Jaber is the perfect candidate for this position and we are very proud to have him on board”, announced Bou Saab during the lunch.

The event was also an opportunity to discuss the launch of the Mohammed bin Rashid School for Communication at the American University in Dubai and to officially announce that Lebanese students are welcome to apply for the scholarship.

This type of event will be scheduled in different Arab countries all throughout the year to promote the School and recruit students to the program.
