The Liberal Arts Department at the American University in Dubai is currently accepting applications
for adjunct (part-time) instructors, who are committed to excellence in teaching.
The area of specialization is English:
Basic College English
A Ph.D or M.A. or
an equivalent degree in English Literature and Language, Liberal Arts or Humanities from a Western accredited
institution of higher education is required. Solid teaching experience at the university level (preferably at a Western
university) and a record of professional achievement teaching English language is necessary.
Successful candidates will need to provide original transcripts
Positions are available for the upcoming Spring 2009 semester. The University has flexible timings
including morning, afternoon and evening classes.
