The Liberal Arts Department at the American University in Dubai is currently accepting applications
for adjunct (part-time) instructors, who are committed to excellence in teaching.
The area of specialization is General Education:
Course title "UNIV 101: Introduction to American University Life"
A Ph.D or M.A. or
an equivalent degree in Education, Liberal Arts or Humanities from a Western accredited
institution of higher education is required. Solid teaching experience at the university level (preferably at a Western
university) and a record of professional achievement teaching General Education is necessary.
Successful candidates will need to provide original transcripts
Positions are available for the upcoming Spring 2009 semester. The University has flexible timings
including morning, afternoon and evening classes.
