The Visual Communication program is designed to educate and to develop artistic and imaginative students for careers in the fields of commercial art and design. Emphasis is placed on the development of the thinking process and the ability to solve design problems creatively. Students learn the principles, practical applications, and methodologies used in completing competent and creative design solutions.

The Department of Visual Communication invites qualified applicants for an opening in the discipline of :

• Color Theory
• Free Hand Drawing

• A minimum of an MFA from a Western accredited university in Painting, or Drawing, or Sculpture
• Practical field experience in digital media, multimedia design, animation, web site graphics, web design, digital video editing and/or 3-D graphics.
• Experience and proficiency in teaching studio and lecture courses in graphic design
• Experience with teaching with the current software packages
• Experience in building and evaluating student portfolios
• Ability to read and design in Arabic is a plus

Candidates must be able to demonstrate significant potential and promise of teaching effectiveness. Student Advising is also required.
