Golden Key
AIESEC

Student Awards

Students who have strongly contributed and brought glory to AUD through athletics, club activities, community service, leadership and academics are honored every year at the AUD Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony.

Student Leadership Awards
Awarded to students who have demonstrated outstanding leadership on campus

Student Service Awards
Awarded to active students who have volunteered regularly and consistently over the course of the academic year and/or intensively for a particular project

Student Government Awards
Awarded to any student, who through an active role in the SGA for the current academic year, has truly made a difference to university life

Outstanding Student Organization
Awarded to the one student organization who met regularly during the course of the academic year, hosted at least two activities per semester, had an agenda for development, officers, a faculty advisor and an organizational plan

Outstanding Event of the Year
Awarded to the one student-created and executed activity that was the most spectacular

AUD Ambassador Awards
Awarded to student who have brought honor to the University through their first place achievement in competitions and projects in the community

Outstanding Male Athlete
Awarded to the one male athlete who has excelled athletically, deemed to be the most valuable to the team and embodies the spirit of AUD Athletics (sportsmanship, citizenship, team work and understanding the spirit of the game)

Outstanding Female Athlete
Awarded to the one female athlete who has excelled athletically, deemed to be the most valuable to the team and embodies the spirit of AUD Athletics (sportsmanship, citizenship, team work and understanding the spirit of the game)

President's Award for Student Excellence
Awarded to a student who has excelled at AUD through academics, leadership, involvement in several university activities, and emulates AUD's values and beliefs

President's Award for Teaching Excellence
Awarded to the faculty member who has contributed to the University through extraordinary performance as a teacher and has contributed to student development through student service and mentoring outside the classroom

President's Award for Distinguished Service
Awarded to a faculty or staff member who has made significant ongoing contributions to AUD above and beyond the call of duty and whose impact on the institution is formidable and universally recognized

Who's Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities

The American University in Dubai is a participant in this annual directory of students. More than 2,300 institutions of higher learning in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and several foreign nations participate in this annual program that recognize junior and senior university students who maintain a CGPA of 3.5 or above; participate in extracurricular activities; are involved in citizenship and service to the University and/or the community; and demonstrate potential for future achievement.

Golden Key International Honour Society

The American University in Dubai has a chapter of Golden Key, one of the world's top honor societies. There are 350 chapters worldwide. This premier honor society recognizes juniors and seniors who are in the top of their class in all fields of student and has awarded more than five million dollars in scholarships to its members. The mission of Golden Key is "to build global communities of academic achievers by providing opportunities for individual growth through leadership, career development, networking and service".

AIESEC

AIESEC, the world's largest student organization recognized by the United Nations, is the international platform for young people to discover and develop their potential so as to have a positive impact on society.

In addition to providing over 5,000 leadership positions and delivering over 350 conferences to our membership of over 22,000 students, AIESEC also runs an exchange program that enables over 4,000 students and recent graduates the opportunity to live and work in another country.

We attract and cultivate young people with global mindsets while giving organizations an incredible opportunity to interact and access young people from all corners of the globe. We partner with a wide variety of organizations, from multinational to small business, non-profit to government and UN.
