AUD Departmental Clubs serve as professional organizations that address the special needs and interests of students in specific areas of study. They encourage members to explore their interests and talents and organize major specific activities such as lectures, seminars, professor's lunches, competitions, exhibitions, workshops and field trips. The clubs also serve as a liaison between the student body and faculty of each department.
Cinematopia Club
Cinematopia Film Club LogoA place to facilitate students interested in film and film making. The club intends to bring together students who are interested in all aspects of film making, as well as offering the AUD community films of artistic and intellectual value.

The club is organized by the students of Mohammed Bin Rashid School for Communication (MBRSC). Films are shown weekly and discussions are held at the conclusion of the film by students and faculty. In addition, students produce film projects together.
