WHEN MONALIZA SMILED FILM
AUD is proud to announce the launch of a feature fiction film "When Monaliza Smiled", written and directed by Fadi G. Haddad, Assistant Professor of Digital Production and Storytelling at AUD, and produced by Nadia Eliewat, Assistant Professor in Digital Production and Storytelling at AUD, in collaboration with Maruan Manaja, Mohammed bin Rashid School for Communication at AUD Operations Manager, who worked as a boom operator on set and as the technical supervisor during the post-production stage.

The film, shot in the summer of 2011 in Amman, will first be released commercially in Jordanian cinemas in August 2012, followed by a regional release in December. Professor Haddad is planning on participating in film festivals around the world.

About the movie
A romantic comedy, the film is a love story between Jordanian Monaliza and Egyptian Hamdi, set in present day Amman among a community of nosy stereotypes and quirky characters.
