Visual Cultures Forum – Azza Alameddine
Bringing identity back to the Arab world

The Department of Visual Communication at AUD hosted a Visual Cultures forum titled “Bringing identity back to the Arab World,” with graphic designer Azza Alameddine, who discussed Arab-Latin Typography.

 
A design workshop was held with the students, followed by a lecture.
 
Azza Alameddine is a graphic designer who specializes in branding, print and type design. Originally from Lebanon, she now lives and works as a graphic and types designer in London.
 
Azza has a B.A. in Visual Communication from Creapole, Paris (2007) and in 2012, graduated from the Type Design M.A. program in Reading.
 
She has previously worked at Tarek Atrissi design in Holland, BrandCentral & Grey in Beirut and Dalton Maag in London.
