Brad Moody, Associate Professor of Digital Media at AUD was the only professional from the UAE chosen to be a part of the Adobe Design Achievement Awards Preselection Panel Judge and Mentor in the Mentorship Program for 2017.
Since 2009, International Council of Design (ico-D) has partnered with Adobe in a shared goal to empower young designers through creative engagement. The Adobe Design Achievement Awards celebrate student achievement reflecting the powerful convergence of technology and the creative arts. The competition - which showcases individual and group projects created with industry-leading Adobe creative software - honors the most talented and promising student graphic designers, photographers, illustrators, animators, digital filmmakers, game developers and computer artists from the world's top institutions of higher education.
Adobe ico-D Mentorship Program
Inspiration, guidance, and reflection are invaluable tools during creative and educational development. In this international program, ico-D partners with Adobe to foster inspired conversation and collaboration between dedicated students and an esteemed design professional.[1]
“It is an honor to be asked to be a part of such a global competition and mentorship program for the 2nd year in a row. It is truly inspiring to see student talent worldwide," comments Prof. Moody.
AUD is a member of the International Council of Design. ico-D is a Council of independent Member organizations - a global network that shares common issues, commitments and standards. Members create a unified voice for the global design community and drive a high level dialogue on the leading role design plays in society, culture and the economy.
