AUD and MBRF announce scholarships for UAE Nationals to study at MBRSC
Media scholarships are for UAE nationals with a grade average of 85% and above.

The American University in Dubai (AUD) and the Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF) have announced new scholarship opportunities for UAE nationals wishing to study Journalism during a joint press conference at the Ministry of Education in Dubai.
 
His Excellency Dr. Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi spoke of AUD’s exceptional academic standing, noting that investing in youth and education is a national duty that ties the interests of the private and public sectors, who depend on graduates to keep up with the constantly evolving media industry.
 
His Excellency Jamal Bin Huwaireb, Managing Director of MBRF said: “We are proud of our strategic partnership with the American University in Dubai, as today we offer scholarships for UAE nationals to study at the Mohammad Bin Rashid School for Communication.”
“Our media institutions need qualified Emirati nationals with outstanding academic, scientific and practical credentials. To widen the program’s reach, we have decided not to specify a set number of scholarships, but to open the door to all high school graduates who wish to specialize in media”. High school students can qualify for the scholarship should they have a grade average of 85 percent or above upon graduating from high school.
Mr. Huwaireb added “We look forward to educating a productive and talented generation of media professionals who have the necessary skills to identify our society’s developmental needs and address them.”
 
Mr. Elias Bou Saab, Executive Vice President at the American University in Dubai thanked His Highness Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum and the Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation for their everlasting commitment to empowering youth through education. To date, 921 AUD graduates have benefited from the Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum scholarships, with over 180 of them graduating from the Mohammad Bin Rashid School for Communication. Addressing the press, Mr. Bou Saab said: “I encourage all those who meet the entry requirements to apply for these scholarships that will guarantee you exceptional professional prospects in the media and film industry”.
