AUD partners for the ninth year with Harvard to host the Harvard College in Asia Program (HCAP)

AUD has partnered for the ninth year with The Harvard College in Asia Program (HCAP). HCAP is a nonprofit student organization at Harvard University that promotes academic, cultural, and social exchange among the future leaders of the United States, Asia and the Middle East ( We are looking to select representatives from our top student body to attend the Conference in January in Cambridge and additional students to make a  larger group to plan and participate in the conference held at AUD in March.

Each year, HCAP conferences revolve around specific themes that weave together every element of the conference, thereby creating unique, global, and holistic experiences that address the same issues through a variety of different approaches. HCAP’s 2017-2018 conference theme is Redefining Leadership: Initiative and Influence in the Modern World.” This topic will direct the January conference at Harvard from January 14-21, 2018 held in Cambridge, as well as the conference in March, from Saturday, March 10 - Sunday, March 18, 2018 held at AUD.  

Both conferences include academic, cultural and social activities that require commitment, student participation and support for it to be successful. Interested students (Undergraduate) are encouraged to submit;

PS - Students will be travelling at their own expense (Air Ticket and Visa) to Harvard apart from accommodation, food & ground transportation which will be provided by Harvard on arrival. During the conference held at AUD, students are responsible for their own expenses as far as food, social and cultural gatherings except for a few AUD sponsored events (which will be defined at a later stage).
