CEPPS signs with Dubai Economy
AUD signs an exclusive knowledge partnership with Dubai Economy.
AUD’s Center for Executive Programs and Professional Services (CEPPS) is pleased to announce that Dubai Economy (formerly the Department of Economic Development) has entered into a knowledge partnership with AUD. On December 12, 2017, AUD signed an agreement with Dubai Economy to set up a Center for Professional Qualification (CPQ) at AUD. The CPQ will be Dubai Economy’s officially recognized and designated provider of assessment services, professional development courses, and certification of achievement of the level of qualification that will be required before Dubai Economy  grants initial licensure or renewal of licensure to consulting firms in Dubai. The scope of CPQ’s services under this agreement will be very wide and will encompass all firms in every field of consulting in Dubai.
Dr. Jihad S. Nader, AUD’s Vice President for Institutional Advancement and Development, commented: “Our knowledge partnership with Dubai Economy is a source of pride for CEPPS and for AUD. It demonstrates our commitment to serve society and participate actively in initiatives whose aim is to enhance professionalism in economic and business activities and practices in Dubai.”
Dr. Lance de Masi, AUD’s President, and H.E. Omar Bou Shehab, Executive Director of Dubai Economy’s Department of Commercial Registration and Licensure, signed the agreement at the premises of Dubai Economy. Present at the signing ceremony were Dr. Jihad S. Nader from AUD and Dr. Jamal Al Fakheri from Dubai Economy. Heads of various departments at Dubai Economy attended the signing.
