CEPPS Hosts a Luncheon in Honor of HR Professionals.
HR Professionals attend CEPPS luncheon on campus.

 On December 13, 2017, AUD’s Center of Executive Programs and Professional Services (CEPPS) hosted a luncheon in honor of human resource managers from the corporate and public sectors in the UAE. This event provided an excellent networking opportunity for HR professionals and facilitated engagement by AUD faculty and HR staff with leaders in HR professional practice. A large number of organizations were represented at the event.
H.E. Fareda Abdullah Mohamed Al Ali, Assistant Undersecretary for National Human Resources Employment, Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, delivered a keynote speech on policy initiatives aiming to achieve higher emiratisation targets through employment of young UAE nationals in the private sector. She urged corporations in the UAE to give priority to employing national talent and give back to the society by contributing to the achievement of the government’s policy objectives. She was followed by Mr. Martin Jalili, Advisor for the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, who addressed the Fast-Paced Changes and Challenges Facing the HR Profession in the UAE.
Dr. Jihad S. Nader, AUD Vice President for Institutional Advancement and Development, did a presentation on CEPPS and its mission and role in building knowledge partnerships between AUD and business organizations as well as government  agencies. The event concluded with a luncheon.
