AUD Students Win the Patchi X Competition
The American University in Dubai participated in the exclusive “Patchi X” student competition, where 5 aud student teams went head to head to design a Patchi product targeting millennials.
The competition challenged students for six weeks, where they saw the creation of their product from start to finish, completing all steps such as collecting data, conducting interviews, and pursuing market analysis to generate ideas that would appeal to the generation x market . The Patchi team was inspired by the level of creative understanding exemplified by the AUD Marketing students. Ms. Aline Ashkarian, the country manager of the Patchi Company, expressed her praise at their talent.
Despite the vigorous quality ideas produced, the winners of the competition were Riya Berry and Fabienne Stanitz. Both students were awarded paid internships at Patchi Company.
With Patchi Company as AUD’s newest partner, Ms. Ashkarian has discussed a desire for further collaboration with AUD and the offering of future internships to students.
