AUD pushes education frontiers with MOU signings
“Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today” Malcolm X. It is this spirit that AUD embodies, striving to equip the youth of today with the knowledge and mentorship of Higher Education. Combining the premise of accessibility to higher education with the quality of education offered at AUD, the university has endeavored to collaborate with secondary education institutions through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with a number of schools.
The university has signed MOUs with Al Maarifa International Private School, Al Mawakeb Barsha, Al Mawakeb Garhoud, Dubai Modern Educational School, Dubai National School Al Barsha, Dubai National School Al Twar, International School for Arts and Sciences, New Academy School, and Nibras International School, and Philadelphia Private School. The MOUs are a manifestation of mutual intent to develop the field of education in the region. Through tuition waivers, joint research projects, and internship opportunities, the bridge between Higher Education and Secondary Education shortens. The schools were welcomed on the AUD campus at the President’s office where they proceeded to sign the respective MOU agreements. Following the exchange of agreements, each school was awarded an honorary plaque from the American University in Dubai that highlighted the university’s pride in fostering relationships within the education sector.
Collaboration opportunities are limitless, bound only by the spirit of intent, and the MOUs are the stepping-stone towards building greater opportunities to educate and empower the youth of today.
