AUD-CEPPS Collaborates with IP3 to Offer GCC Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Executive Certification Program at AUD
Under the auspices of the Center for Executive Programs and Professional Services (CEPPS) at the American University in Dubai (AUD), the Institute for Public-Private Partnerships, A Tetra Tech Company (IP3), will offer a five-day course on “PPP Strategies and Project Structuring Techniques.” Scheduled for November 11-15, 2018 (venue: AUD campus); see brochure, this will be the first course to be offered in IP3’s GCC Executive Certification Program. Headquartered in the Washington, DC area, IP3 is a global leader in PPP advisory services and capacity building worldwide, training over 35,000 officials from 175 countries since 1994. IP3 is accredited by the American National Standards Institution (ANSI) / International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) in the USA.
Dr. Jihad S. Nader, Vice President for Institutional Advancement and Development, commented, “PPP is a rapidly growing area of economic activity in the UAE and the GCC region. Both the magnitude of existing PPP activity and its growth potential are huge; however, professional knowledge of the various aspects of PPP projects and their management is lagging behind. This collaboration between CEPPS and IP3, an accredited global leader in providing executive development and certification programs in PPP, will contribute to closing the knowledge gap in this important sector. Our collaboration with IP3 is a major strategic initiative that demonstrates CEPPS’s expanding international reach and engagement as it pursues the fullest achievement of its mission.”
