On February 27th, 2019 the AUD Career Services Division orchestrated the second edition Education for Employment Conference in partnership with the Alliance 4 Youth on campus.

The event allowed students and attendees the chance to interact with CEOS and HR Directors from leading international organizations through panel discussion, workshops and clinics.

The conference kicked off with a panel discussion on the results of innovation shaping the market by 2030 and what soft skills currently are most important for the job market of 2019. This discussion was led by industry leaders from L’Oreal, Nestle Middle East, Nielsen, Robert Bosch Middle East and Publicis Group Middle East as well as our very own Provost, Dr. Imad Hoballah and Associate Dean of the School of Business Administration, Dr. Assad Farah.

Following the panel discussion students were instructed on the current and future skill sets that employers seek beyond academia. Workshops dedicated to CV building, Mock Interviews, and Online Soft Skills training were run by the Alliance 4 Youth organization featuring leading professionals.

The Education for Employment event continues to bring together the AUD student community with prestigious market leaders providing the opportunity to have an insider glance into the latest hiring norms inspiring future graduates to merge their education with employment.
