Dr. Viola Weber is a Work- and Organizational Psychologist with a pronounced academic and professional background in the interdisciplinary field of applied clinical and organizational Psychology. Before joining AUD in 2018, she worked as psychological counsellor and systemic coach in Duesseldorf, Germany, providing consultancy, lectures and trainings in corporate mental health promotion as well as Employee Assistance Programs (EAP). Dr. Weber conducted Executive and Conflict Coaching, she developed diverse and interdisciplinary teams in numerous organizations as well as provided psychological counselling for leaders and staff.

Combining her work and research interests, Dr. Weber also led several collaborative, interdisciplinary projects including university and international corporate partners. Thereby she conducted research on psychosocial stress and health in specific professional groups, using a psychobiological diagnostic approach. During her employment at the German federal association of company health insurances she led the European company network ‘Enterprise for Health’. Dr. Weber’s work resulted in publications about the effects of leadership and organizational culture on mental health and well-being, as well as in recommendations for the management of stress on a corporate level. She has enjoyed lecturing and giving workshops for undergraduate / graduate students and for apprentices.

She likes to spend her free time with her family, meet friends, also enjoys swimming, running along the beach, reading, and she loves to travel and explore countries in the Middle East.
