The American University in Dubai hosted a High School Counselors and Leader’s Workshop on May 27, 2022. A welcome address by Raj Kapoor was followed by a session on “Supporting Lifelong Career Decision-Making-in a Fast Changing World; led by Lara Khouri, and a seminar titled “Social Emotional Learning and Academic Success” facilitated by Dr. Nadera Alborno, Associate Professor of Education. Dr. David A. Schmidt, President of AUD, addressed and thanked the audience, followed by a brief discussion on AUD and its programs, and a Q & A session focused primarily on the AUD admission process, AUD’s accreditations, and scholarship opportunities for candidates.
