The American University in Dubai partnered with the College Board to convene its second annual MENA Forum on Friday, March 1, 2024. This esteemed gathering brought together education leaders from across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region for a collaborative dialogue focused on advancing educational excellence. Over 50 prestigious schools from the UAE and the wider MENA region were represented by educators and administrators. Additionally, reputable universities from both the UAE and abroad participated in the forum, serving as a platform for global cooperation and knowledge exchange in education, with attendees sharing valuable insights and strategies to promote student success and mobility.
The forum addressed a comprehensive range of panel discussions and breakout sessions, the topics tapped into global educational trends, advanced coursework options for students, effective preparation for higher education, and the evolving landscape of higher education in the MENA region. The diverse perspectives of the participants led to rich discussions, paving the way for future collaborative initiatives aimed at improving educational outcomes.
In her opening address, Dr. Sabrina Joseph, AUD Provost and Chief Academic Officer, highlighted the critical role of such forums in driving positive change within the educational landscape, she also commended the attendees' dedication to shaping a brighter future for students across the MENA region.
