After years of partnership between the Interior Design Department at AUD and Herman Miller, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Dr. David A. Schmidt, AUD President, and Ms. Stacy Stewart, Herman Miller Regional Director Middle East & Africa.

Herman Miller is a recognized innovator in contemporary interior furnishings and a name synonymous with “modern” furniture.

The ceremony took place at the School of Architecture, Art and Design and the MOU was signed in the presence of Dr. Sabrina Joseph, AUD Provost and Chief Academic Officer; Dr. Nabyl Chenaf, Dean, AUD School of Architecture, Art and Design and Professor of Architecture; Professor Kristin Lee, Chair and Associate Professor of Interior Design; Professor Annamaria Lambri, Outreach Coordinator and Associate Professor of Interior Design; Ms. Simona Giacalone, MillerKnoll Architecture + Design Manager Middle East and Africa; and AUD students, faculty and staff.
