In line with the campaign launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, titled: The UAE, the best winter in the world.

The American University in Dubai is launching a Press Report Competition in support of the campaign. The Competition is in Arabic or English for students of the twelfth grade, citizens and residents in public and private schools.

Each participant is required to write a press report about The UAE, the best winter in the world.

The student can choose to write about any attraction (touristic, natural, historical, cultural, monument, etc...) in the UAE.

The word count is from 500 to 800 words and must meet the following criteria:

• The report should include interviews with three sources who provide information or opinions about the site (either from the workers or visitors).
• The report should be accompanied by photographs of the interviewee and general photographs of the chosen site.
• References should be cited at the end of the report, if any information about the site that was taken from them.
• Information that should be included: Name of participant, school name and Emirate, contact number, and e-mail address.
