On November 2, 2021, INVERT, a project by AUD students, Marah Bashir and Nadine Abdelrahman, and guided by Professor Annamaria Lambri won first prize in the StudioVee Design Challenge Awards Ceremony. This ceremony, which was held at the Almurabbaa Arts Festival, Ajman UAE, is in collaboration with AUDesign_LAB; part of the AUD Interior Design Department and StudioVee.

AZAHARA, by Sama Sabagh and Fatima Joosub won second place and RAGSA by Hania Elkhouly and Al Joudi Abo Ammash won third place.

The prototype of the winning project, INVERT, will be displayed Dubai Design District during Dubai Design Week.
