CEPPS and MBRSC Collaborate on Program

Government executives invited to discuss the Executive Program in Government Communication

Feb 19, 2019

On Thursday, February 7, Dr. Jihad S. Nader, Vice President for Institutional Advancement and Development, invited three senior executives from the Government Communication Department of Dubai’s Executive Council and General Secretariat Affairs to a panel discussion on the Executive Program in Government Communication.

The UAE government sector is at the center of CEPPS’s marketing and relationship-building strategy. Our selection in January 2018 as the exclusive provider to Dubai Economy of mandatory management skills testing, qualification and certification services leading to licensure of consultants, is a prime example of relationship building with the government sector. Several other projects for government agencies have been or are being developed. The latest project is an Executive Program in Government Communication which consists of three one-week modules and a capstone. Content development for this program was assigned to faculty in the Mohammed Bin Rashid School for Communication (MBRSC) who are specialists in a wide range of communication disciplines. The program is designed as a capacity building and broad learning experience for 30 executive-level participants who were selected from various Dubai Government and UAE Federal Government departments.

On Thursday, February 7, in preparation for running the program’s first module, Dr. Jihad S. Nader, Vice President for Institutional Advancement and Development, invited three senior executives from the Government Communication Department of Dubai’s Executive Council and General Secretariat Affairs (GCD & GSA) to a panel discussion of this unique program and its objectives.

Mr. Ahmad Al Mahri , Assistant Secretary General, GCD & GSA
Mr. Ayman Mahmoud, Director of Government Communication, GCD & GSA
