The American University in Dubai’s athletics teams excelled at the Higher Education Sports Federation Tournament held at Zayed University over the weekend. AUD is proud to congratulate the men’s and women’s basketball team and men’s and women’s volleyball team for taking first place in the tournament as well as the men’s tennis team placing second. AUD’s victories at the tournament are testament to the persistence, dedication and success of AUD’s athletes and athletic department.

Scores of the Tournament are as follows:
The Men’s Basketball team won 1st place against University of Sharjah location 98 to 82.
The Men’s Volleyball team won 1st place against the United Arab Emirates University 3-0.
The Woman’s basketball team won 1st place against University of Sharjah 40/24.
The Woman’s volleyball team won 1st place against the American University of Sharjah 3-0 in Dubai Woman’s College.
The Men’s tennis team took 2nd place in the one day tournament held at the Dubai Men’s College.
