The American University in Dubai, in collaboration with the Dream program on the MBC has offered a full scholarship to the student Dima Salah El-Din Jumaa. Dima will pursue her dream of becoming a Computer Engineer in the School of Engineering at AUD starting from the academic year 2022-2023.

In addition to her undergraduate tuition fees, Dima has been offered full accommodation in the AUD Residence Halls on Campus until she graduates. The Dream program also provided her with $30,000 spending money during her years of study.

Dima, a Palestinian student, was born in the United Arab Emirates and graduated from Ajman Private School in 2021. Even though her average was 93%, she was unable to enter the university to continue her studies due to her family's financial circumstances.

Dima expressed her deep thanks and appreciation to the AUD administration and the Dream program because they fulfilled her dream of studying at the American University in Dubai. She said that this is the opportunity of a lifetime that will open horizons to her future, and it is the beginning of a new life. She is looking forward to completing her AUD degree with distinction, and hopes to specialize in artificial intelligence, because it is the gateway to the scientific future of development, in all walks of life.
