AUD hosts CEO of Tonic International

Creativity in the production of advertising campaigns at the America University in Dubai

The American University of Dubai (AUD) hosted Mr. Arnaud Verchère, CEO of Tonic International (a creative advertising and branding agency in Dubai), where he delivered a lecture to the students of the College of Business Administration, in the presence of Dr. Mohammed Obeidat, the Chair of the Marketing Department.

Mr. Arnaud talked about how to create an advertising campaign and the factors that can contribute to a successful advertising campaign.

He also presented students with few examples of successful marketing advertising from a different region from around the world. He stressed that creative and critical thinking is the most important factor in the success of the advertisement, and encourage students not to be afraid to be unique when it comes to advertising and most important to be original and imaginative in the materials that they are producing.

At the end, he invited the students to visit the company to get a chance to see what it takes to create a good advertising campaign and to get an idea of the daily routine of the advertising agency work.

The visit was scheduled on September 20, 2017, where the students got a chance to work hand to hand with the agency to create ads campaign for Nivea.
