Dr. Solh has been working in the field of education for the past 22 years. Prior to getting his Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction (Mathematics Education) from Louisiana State University, Dr. Solh spent a decade teaching, counseling, and working on accreditation reports at the K-12 level in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

In addition to teaching, Dr. Solh is passionate about academic research, particularly the link between theory and practice. He has published a book, a journal article, and several refereed conference proceedings. He has presented his work at various national and international conferences, including the International Congress of Mathematics Education (Seoul, 2012 and Hamburg 2016), the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics Annual Meeting (New Orleans, 2014) and the eLearning and Innovative Pedagogies Conference (New York, 2018).

Dr. Solh has received many accolades and awards for his work, including the Asian Education Leadership awards "Best Professor in Mathematics" in 2014 and 2019. His work focuses on the effective use of technology in mathematics education to enhance students’ conceptual understanding. In his free time, Dr. Solh enjoys reading, cooking, and watching thriller movies. He is a fitness enthusiast and an avid runner, and is setting his sight on running his first marathon, after completing two half marathons in 2020.
