Dr. Hanin AL Jebawy joined AUD in January 2023 as Assistant Professor of Mathematics. After graduating from the University of Technology of Compiègne-France in 2020, she served there for two years as a post-doctoral researcher and instructor of mathematics. Previously, she worked as Adjunct Professor at the Lebanese International University from 2018 to 2020.

Her Ph.D. thesis, titled “On Thermo-acoustic and Photo-acoustic Imaging of Small Absorbers,” is dedicated to the study of inverse problems and their applications to medical imaging.

Her main areas of research include inverse problems, photo-acoustic imaging, and semi-linear elliptic equations.
