Ms. Niveen Masri's scientific journey began with her Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory and Technology at Beirut Arab University (BAU), where she was the recipient of the “Jamal Abed Al Nasser Award for Scientific Excellence.” During this time, she gained valuable clinical experience through her participation in various hospital and private laboratory training programs. She subsequently earned a Master's degree in Biochemistry from BAU, thus solidifying her expertise in this critical field.
In 2022, Niveen joined AUD in her role as a Biology Lab Technician and Lab Instructor in the Department of Biological and Physical Sciences. She carries the responsibility for the program’s Biology laboratories, ensuring efficient laboratory operations and upholding safety protocols.
Prior to joining AUD, Niveen held the position of Laboratory Manager and Biomedical Lab Specialist at BAU, where she provided laboratory orientation and teaching, actively contributed to the development of educational lab manuals, maintained international accreditation standards, managed lab supplies and equipment, assisted in research projects, and focused on the implementation of quality control and safety measures.
Her primary research interests are in the domains of biochemistry and molecular biology. She has made significant contributions to these fields, with notable publications in Meta Gene and American Journal of Medical and Biological Research.
