Dr. Hassan Zeineddine joined AUD in 2009, after a long career working and consulting with various large high-tech companies in Canada and the US, such as Cisco Systems and Alcatel-Lucent’s affiliates. He is experienced in the fields of program and project management, telecommunication management systems, software development, and quality assurance. Over his years of service at AUD, Hassan has held several leadership positions. Being the Director of Executive Programs and Professional Services is the most recent, in which he oversees a portfolio of services offered to external partners and clients in both the public and private sectors. He also led the Department of Decision Sciences and Economics, and prior to that the department of Management. Hassan is the founder of the AUD Center of Entrepreneurship and Innovation, in collaboration with Dubai Future Foundation, allowing the university to graduate not only students but also start-up companies. He also founded the AUD/IBM Center of Excellence for Smarter Logistics, in collaboration with IBM.
Dr. Hassan’s areas of research and teaching have been lately in the fields of business operations and data analytics, at the Executive-MBA, Graduate and Undergraduate levels. He published in the fields of machine learning, text analytics, airport operations, and supply chain collaboration, using different methodologies ranging between simulations and data analytics.
In his career journey, Hassan has built essential skills in strategic planning, organizational leadership, program and project management, customer relationship, beside a wide variety of technical and non-technical skills.
