Dr. Obeidat is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at AUD having joined in 2015. He teaches courses in undergraduate business and consumer behavior. Prior to entering academia, he worked in various marketing and managerial capacities in top Fortune 500 companies in the U.S. including UPS, ADT Security, and McGraw-Hill.

To his credit, Dr. Obeidat was voted as a member of the Wilmington University chapter of Sigma Beta Delta, an international honor society for the fields of business, management, and administration. He is dedicated to the continual pursuit of meaningful entrepreneurial development.

His research interest lies in various consumer behavior topics such as consumer attitudes, cross-cultural consumer research, and online shopping behavior. His current work focuses mainly on the MENA region. Other research interests include organizational behavior and leadership.

In his leisure time, Dr. Obeidat finds relaxation in the gym and is very involved in Toastmasters. He has served various roles in the Philadelphia club and is looking forward to joining the local franchise.
