In 2006, Dr. Far held the position of a Postdoctoral Researcher within the MIV group at LSIIT Laboratory, Louis Pasteur University of Strasbourg, where she developed a Dynamic re-planning system for 3D Automated Reconstruction using Situation Graph Trees (SGT). After that, she joined the Smart Sensory Integrated System group at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology as a Research Associate in 2008, where she developed a bio-inspired pattern recognition system for Tin Oxide Gas Sensor Applications.
Dr. Far was a Research Associate with Murdoch University, Perth, Western Australia in 2012, where she developed an algorithm for image restoration for whale shark identification. From 2012 to 2016, she was a Lecturer within the Department of Information Technology at the Institute of West Coast Institute (formerly known as TAFE) in Perth, Australia and a teacher at the School of Engineering and Information Technology, Murdoch University, Perth, Western Australia.
