Prior to joining AUD, Elie worked as assistant project manager in a well known contracting company, managing hydro mechanical, civil and infrastructure projects from 1987 till 1995 in different cities in the UAE.

A member of the establishing team, Elie joined AUD in 1995 as the Director of Central Services. His department is committed to providing physical resources including buildings and equipments adequate to serve the needs of the university in relation to its programs.

He heads the organizing committees for several university events such as the sports festivals and the annual graduations. Elie has been instrumental player in the different construction projects on campus, from his valuable input during the design stages to his supervision of the projects until completed.
