Jarita has 15 years of client focused customer service experience in the private and public sector. She is an ISO Certified Internal Auditor and a NEBOSH certified HSE professional and has also completed health and safety trainings.

Jarita joined the American University in Dubai (AUD) in November 2021 and before joining AUD, she was assisting with research projects to create sustainable digital environments for learning. Prior to this, she worked as Campus Service Officer at Zayed University for 12 years managing and providing travel, hospitality and business services to the student, faculty and staff community.

She was also the department quality assurance specialist to ensure Campus Services met the EHS procedures to achieve the ISO certification.

She is passionate about promoting access to education for all people and especially for those in marginalized communities as she feels strongly that education is the key for better quality of life and the greatest investment for any nation.

Jarita loves reading, listening to podcasts, watching movies, spending time with  her family and travelling the world.
