Sally Kondos brings with her over 15 years of teaching experience in the field of Teaching English as a Second Language. She lived and worked in four different countries, including Egypt, England, KSA, and UAE. Before joining AUD, Sally was an instructor in English as well as a coordinator in America-Mideast Training Services (AMIDEAST) where she was responsible for conducting TOEFL preparation courses. She taught English as a Second language at the University of Wollongong in Dubai (UOWD) 2008-2010.

The passion for teaching the English language has urged Sally to pursue her studies in Doctorate of Language Education at the University of Exeter. Her research interests are in the field of Phraseology and Second Language Acquisition. Sally is in the process of publishing her recent study “The Effect of Teaching Formulaic Sequences on Improving the writing skills of Intermediate-Level Students in an English Language Program at an American University in the Middle East” in a book “Current Issues in English Language Teaching: Voices from the Middle East and North Africa Region.”
