The exhibition “IMMERSIVE” is a representation of 2 main body of work. The first is showcasing the power of immersive technology (Virtual Reality) and its impact on education through the student work of “DDFT 473 – Virtual Environments” at the American University in Dubai (AUD) in collaboration with the Center for Research, Innovation, and Design (CRID). The second is a journey of an artistic project from the physical to the virtual done by Dr. Georges Kachaamy who uses immersive technologies (VR) as tools to augment his ongoing art project “Unconscious.”
