Faculty, staff, and students from the Department of Biological and Physical Sciences participated in the Dubai Police Resilience Forum for University and College Students 2024, held at the prestigious Mohammed bin Rashid Library. The event featured dynamic panel discussions, interactive workshops, and innovative student projects, all aimed at fostering resilience and leadership among youth.

The Chair of the Department, Dr. Muriel Tahtouh Zaatar, was invited as a speaker and was proudly awarded by H.E. Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police. In her talk, Dr. Zaatar focused on strategies for building resilience in youth, particularly through education, and highlighted the future opportunities that arise for resilient leaders.
