The Minor in Architecture at AUD is a one semester program which allows students to develop their knowledge in areas of theory and history of Architecture, construction and building materials, and architectural design.
Led by a faculty of academic and professionally qualified individuals the course is open to all students except those majoring in Architecture.
The Minor in Architecture will provide a general understanding and appreciation of architecture as a discipline. It offers an introduction for further study at undergraduate or graduate level.
Up to two courses from a student’s General Electives may be counted towards fulfilling the requirements for the Minor in Architecture. In addition to university-wide degree requirements, students must complete 16 credit hours divided as follows:
