The Mohammed Bin Rashid School for Communication at the American University in Dubai (AUd) received the Best News Report at the Sharjah International Book Fair.

Ten students who attended the ten-day exhibition and its cultural seminars won the award.

The exhibition management honored the following winners with certificates and in-kind awards: Asma Fouda, Maysa Eid, Raghad Kaddoura, Hala Haj Taleb, Linda Abu Bakr, Razan Mohammed, Yasmin Al-Samarai, Reem Al-Shuaibat, Razan Abu Shakra, Tareq Ghanem.

The activities of the Sharjah Book Fair in its 38th session recently concluded after ten days. The course was sponsored by the Ruler of Sharjah, Member of the Supreme Council, His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Al Qasimi, and witnessed the presence of a large number of international innovators, coinciding with the coronation of Sharjah "World Book Capital".

The exhibition also hosted 2000 publishing houses from 81 Arab and foreign countries under the slogan "Open Books. Open Minds". The Republic of Mexico was named as Guest of Honor.
